Change Windows default installation path ( C:\Program Files ) permanently.

C:\Program Files directory is considered the default directory, Where Windows install the new Programs. And here is a simple and easy registry hack to modify it permanently, so just follow a few steps.

Click Start, then Run and type regedit and press enter or simply press Win + R to open the Run command and type regedit and press Enter,

then press CTRL + F and find the following registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion then find ProgramFilesDir.

By default, this value is C: \ Program Files. Change the value of valid drive or folder and use it in Windows to a new location of the default installation directory for new programs.
