Windows Vista has improved from hibernation and sleep modes, supported by the Windows operating system and introduced as a "Hybrid Sleep". This mode combines the best of both sleep and hibernate features. It allows the system not only to enter in standby mode to save electricity and save energy, but
also retrieve stored data and other programs open. So if you are tired of losing open programs and data after a power outage while the computer is in sleep mode, try the hybrid sleep in which Windows creates a hibernation file and saved it to the hard disk. touching the keyboard or move the computer mouse allows to download the file from hibernation and you'll soon return to work. Here's a step by step guide how to enable hybrid sleep in Microsoft Windows Vista.

Step 1: Click on the Start button of your screen and select the “Control Panel” option

Step 2: Now select the “System and Maintenance” option and click on “Power Options”.

Step 3: Now choose your plan setting, then go to advanced plan setting of your choosen plan. And from the small applet, choose sleep in tree mode, In which you will see option to enable hybrid sleep. Now you can enable hybrid sleep from here and can save your data session lose due to power failure.
